Global Mortgage offers loans for up to 60% of the purchase price with fixed rate terms of 15, 20, and 25 years. Historically, U.S. Citizens have relied on their available liquid assets to define what they are able to afford. By leveraging our loan program they can now consider buying a home they want and not be limited by available cash. A client of ours is a great example of that. She is now on the path to owning a beautiful home in San Miguel de Allende with a value twice as much as she had available in cash, and she will also be able to keep some cash for a rainy day. In many cases, folks will borrow against their assets in the U.S. to purchase property in Mexico, which restrains their credit and liquidity. Global Mortgage loans are not reported to U.S. credit bureaus and because we collect taxes, insurance, and HOA fees (where applicable) along with the monthly principal and interest payment, our borrowers have the convenience of making their mortgage payment as they are accustomed to in the U.S.
